DAY 6 STARTS TODAY... Don’t forget that tonight is the Season 6 premiere of FOX's Emmy award-winning show. Four episodes in all will be aired today and tomorrow, starting at 8 PM. For those of you who haven’t seen the TV commercials or read any magazine or Internet spoilers on this, Day 6 begins with cities around the United States being ravaged by bombings over 11 weeks, with Jack Bauer still inside a Chinese prison after being captured by Chinese government agents at the end of Season 5 [for his role in the (friendly fire) death of a Chinese ambassador in Season 4]. Wayne Palmer, who witnessed his brother and former President David Palmer get assassinated in front of his eyes at the start of Season 5, now resides in the White House as the new leader of the free world. When Jack returns to the U.S. (after a deal is made in which he would be freed but would have to sacrifice himself to deal with the terrorists behind the nationwide bombings), he is a broken man. Bauer doesn’t know how to be the forceful counter-terrorist agent that he was prior to his abduction on Day 5. But according to one magazine report, events transpire near the end of the fourth episode tomorrow where the old Bauer comes back with a vengeance, as new situations take place that start to make Day 6 unravel even more. Can’t wait to see what they are!!

The main cast of 24, Season 6.

Oh, and for those of you living here in SoCal (Southern California for you non-hipsters), don’t forget that KCAL Channel 9 also airs 24 on Sunday nights at 11:00. In other words, don’t miss three episodes of the show tonight! The 11:00 episode is from Season 3, though. Ahh, screw it— Day 3.

Chinese officials watch as Jack Bauer is released to CTU (Counter-Terrorist Unit) authorities at the start of Day 6.
