UPDATE ON YESTERDAY'S ENCOUNTER: Upon thorough retrospection, I believe that the girl I saw yesterday was NOT Denise. Usually, when there's someone I know...I'll instantly recognize them the minute I see them. The fact that I had to circle around 2 times to see if that girl was her indicates that that girl wasn't Denise. Which is a good thing. A good thing in that, sentimental-wise, the memory of the last encounter last May wasn't tarnished by yesterday. A bad thing, however, is the fact Denise will still react the same way the other girl did yesterday. Oh well... It's still nice to know I haven't yet seen Denise on campus this semester. Either that, or I'm in denial that I'm no longer in the position to talk to her.
MORE ON AMERICA ATTACKED... Just wanted to point out that Operation Infinite Justice has been renamed Operation Enduring Freedom--so as not to piss off Muslim people around the world even more...since only Allah can exact infinite justice.
You know, I had an eery dream last night of terrorists attacking Cape Canaveral in Florida with airplanes. I dreamt that they showed footage of a space shuttle lifting off while there was smoke and fire surrounding the launch pad--with more planes crashing into the area. I thought it was real...and I dreamt that I e-mailed my friends about the attacks. And then I woke up, and realized...that's some crazy shiznit. Kinda on par with me having a dream a few weeks earlier about me and hundreds of other people evacuating a skyscraper because Imperial Stormtroopers (from the Star Wars OT, I mean, Original Trilogy) were attacking the building. I'm serious! Okay, I'll stop sounding weird now.

UPDATE: Whoa, now here's something creepy... I'm at the computer lab right now and the girl next to me is checking her e-mail account. In one of her e-mails she got a picture (dunno if that's her friend) of some guy posing on the top of a building in New York. Right behind and below him, apparently heading towards the building whose balcony he's on, is an American Airlines jet.

Pretty crazy! Of course, I don't know if it's real or not, since how was the photo or camera found if that was a WTC tower the guy was on? Anyways, just wanted to point that out.

Arg!! Was that or was that not Denise? When I was walking to my class today I saw a girl who looked just like her sitting on a West Campus Drive street bench waiting for someone to pick her up. I could've sworn that was Denise, and circled around, like, 2 times just to confirm if it was her. She looked like her, but I couldn't really be sure of it--since I pretty much couldn't just stop in front of her and stare to see if it was Denise (although I'm pretty sure that girl noticed I was checking her out). If she was talking on her cell phone, then I could tell if it was Denise or not cuz I could recognize her by her smile. Obviously she didn't smile this time (if it was Denise), considering the fact there was no reason to since we stopped e-mailing each other 2 months ago--and she probably read the things I said about her in this journal after she didn't return my call that one July night. Another reason why I'm skeptical that that girl was Denise is because Denise drives. Why would she be waiting for someone to pick her up? Unless her silver Honda Civic was in the shop or something. Oh well. If it was Denise, then I guess I don't have to worry about running into her on campus anymore since it already happened today--and she reacted to seeing me the exact way I expected her to react...kinda reminiscent of running into her that one day last March. Anyways, there's nothing else I could say about this. I could already feel my memory distorting today's encounter to convince me that that girl was indeed Denise. All right then, that's it for now.

By the way, Michael Jordan is back in the NBA.

Was that Denise?

WOOHOO! Yesterday I went to Fry's Electronics in Anaheim to buy a new computer...which replaces the obsolete 2 GB one that broke down 2 months ago. The new comp is an eMachine...with a 1.0 GHz Pentium III processor, 128 mb of RAM, a CD BURNER (hellz yea...although it's 8x and not 16x), a 10/100 mb Ethernet card and 30 GB of hard drive space. Yuuupp...I'm living the good life now, haha! The only bad thing is I currently need to use the free 700 hr trial of AOL to log online, since Earthlink is down cuz their servers were infected by a virus. In the coming days I need to install Quicktime, as well as the movie trailers that are still on the broken computer...including the Gladiator trailer and both trailers for The Phantom Menace. In the next few weeks, my computer will be graced with the preview to Episode II. Woohoo!

PS: For those of you who think I'm rich and spoiled...DAMN RIGHT I AM!!! HAHAHAHAHA! Just kidding.

God, I hate Netscape. I was updating the entry for 9/12/01...which was about me offering my condolences to those who lost loved ones in the September 11 terrorist attacks...when my journal itself was messed up because Netscape 6 didn't upload my post properly. So I had to delete the 9/12 post and have to address the tragedies in this one. Anyways-- As of today, 6,333 people have been reported killed in the WTC attacks. Well below the initial estimation of 10,000-20,000 casualties, but tragic nonetheless. U.S. military forces are still gearing up for Infinite Justice, while Afghanistan's Taliban regime has told Osama Bin Laden to leave the country. OH YEA, like he'd really do that. More updates later on...

And I hate Netscape 6.

MORE ON AMERICA ATTACKED... The U.S. military response to last week's attack now has a name: Operation Noble Eagle. More updates later on...

UPDATE: Okay, I just went to CNN.com right now and it reported that the U.S. military operation is tentatively called Infinite Justice. Is it Infinite Justice or Noble Eagle? Make up your mind, people!!

AMERICA ATTACKED... Well, it's been 4 days since the disaster on the East Coast of this country, and there have been major developments. For starters, Congress has given President Bush full authority to retaliate against those responsible for the tragedies. Second, the airports are finally re-opened. And third, many suspects have been arrested throughout the U.S. (and elsewhere in the world) that may have connections to the terrorist strikes. That's good news. And now it's a matter of time until we finally see a military strike by America being staged...

By the way, here's a little conspiracy for you:

These are the flight numbers of the four planes that crashed last Tuesday...

Flight 11: Sept. 11...the day of the terrorist attacks
Flight 93: 9 + 3 = 12 (Wooptydoo, I can add)
Flight 175: 1 + 7 + 5 = 13
Flight 77: 7 + 7 = 14

11, 12, 13 and 14... Could these be all the dates the terrorists were gonna stage attacks in the U.S.? Or are these selection of passenger flights a mere coincidence? Only those criminals and their bastard leader Osama bin Laden knew...

If any of you wanna watch a couple of cool (not to mention violent and funny) Flash cartoons, go to Ninjai.com. It's pretty cool...kinda like a Japanime series.

I'm four days late, but congratulations to the Los Angeles Sparks for winning their first WNBA championship.
