They're not champions for nothing. The Lakers opened up the 2000-'01 season with a 96-86 win over the Trail Blazers. According to media sources, the score should have been the other way around, with Rasheed Wallace and Co. making good on the amount of money the Portland team's owner Paul Allen spent on upgrading them during the summer. Better luck next time, Allen...it takes more than the addition of Shawn Kemp and Dale Davis to stop Shaq.

Anywayz, hope all of you had an enjoyable and safe Halloween.
Happy Halloween, everyone!! Besides today being the day to dress up like ghouls, goblins, Batman, and that stalker from the Scream films...today is also an important day for those of you who are basketball fans.

Today's the start of the NBA season...with the defending champion Lakers playing against the Portland Trail Chokers--er, Blazers. Everyone is rooting for Portland to win it all at the end of the season, which should take the pressure off the Lakers since they're the underdogs. Yea, let's see if Shawn Kemp and Dale "my former team got whupped by the Lakers in the NBA Finals last season" Davis can make a difference.

Anywayz, I'll stop ranting on and on about the Lake Show. For those of you going trick or treating, don't get too many cavities from all of 'em candies! Latez!!

Yesterday, I went with a couple of my friends to Knott's Scary Farm in Buena Park. Most of the mazes there were pretty good...and the Elvira show was funny. VERY SEXUAL, but funny. Did the organizers even know that there were gonna be a couple of kids that were gonna watch the show? I'm pretty sure they did, as one of my friends told me that the Elvira show was just as provocative a year earlier as it was last night.

Also, yesterday was the graduation of one of my friends (Ryan A.) from Devry. Congratulations, dawg!... So are a lot of chicks going to your party tonight?

Hmm, so much for the underdogs. For those of you who don't know yet, the Yankees ousted the Mets, 4-2 in game 4, of the Subway Series. Yea!!! 26 championships... Gee, I wonder if the Yankees are one of the greatest dynasties in the history of sports?

On a different note... I finally got those Greek Myth and Geology tests over with... Now I wonder how I did on them?
What's up, everyone! Right now I have nothing to update on, so I'll just inform you on what's currently going on in Parman's life (yesss, this oughta be interesting). Well, for the past two weeks I've been having nothing but tests and quizzes in all my classes at LBSU...and I have two more today--one in Greek Myth and the other in Geology lecture--and one in my Geology lab next Wednesday (Nov. 1). So it's pretty much obvious that the only thing I'll be doing for a while is studyin'. Cool, hah?

On the plus side, I went to a Laker game last Friday (where they beat the Seattle Supersonics, 103-98), and I'm going to Knott's Scary Farm tomorrow with some of my friends. So at least I got some fun stuff going on. Anyways, that's it for now. Later!
