Earlier today, the world found out that David Prowse—the man behind the mask as Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy—passed away in England yesterday after battling a short illness. He was 85. Although we didn't hear his voice on the iconic Sith Lord (James Earl Jones voiced Vader, respectively), Prowse's imposing stature contributed to Emperor Palpatine's dark apprentice being one of the most fearsome and memorable movie villains of all time. Rest in peace, Prowse...and the Force will be with you. Always.
