A Full Moon on the Fourth of July...

A snapshot of the Full Moon that I took with my Nikon D3300 DSLR camera on July 4, 2020.

The day is almost over, but Happy Independence Day, fellow Yanks! Just thought I'd share this photo that I took of the Full Moon about two hours ago. Tonight's Full Moon is also known as the Buck Moon, Thunder Moon, Hay Moon, Mead Moon, Rose Moon, Guru Moon, and Dharma Day. I have no idea who came up with these monikers. There was also supposed to be a partial penumbral eclipse around 9:44 PM, Pacific Daylight Time (12:44 AM, Eastern Daylight Time on July 5) today, but apparently, you need special instrumentation to view the faint shadow of the Earth on the Moon's surface. Oh well. I've already taken pictures of previous lunar eclipses (like this one) with my Nikon D3300 DSLR camera over the past two years, so no big deal.

Anyways, for those of you who haven't heard yet, rapper Kanye West has announced that he's running for U.S. president. If you despise Donald Trump and are thinking about voting for Kim Kardashian's husband, don't! This should be common knowledge by now, but Kanye is a huge buddy of Trump...and he's basically trying to steal votes from Democratic candidate Joe Biden to help the traitor in the White House win this November. Kanye is to Biden what Jill Stein and Gary Johnson was to Hillary Clinton four years ago. So yea— Screw Kanye. And wear a mask whenever you go out! Just not like how this guy does it. That is all.
