All I can say is, if I was a Somali pirate, I would totally be sh*tting bricks in my pants if I saw either of these two vessels (officially known as Littoral Combat Ships) barreling across the ocean towards me! These ships can travel at a top speed of 50+ mph...which maybe slow for a car, but very fast for sea-going capital warships. I love being an American.
