Photos of the Day: Viewing SLS in Person!

At Canaveral National Seashore with NASA's Space Launch System rocket sitting on Kennedy Space Center's Pad 39B behind me...on March 27, 2022.

Several hours ago, I returned home to Los Angeles after taking a 4-day trip to Florida...during which I viewed NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) rocket in person at Kennedy Space Center's Pad 39B!

I will soon post an entry in my Human Spaceflight Blog with photos taken throughout my brief Space Coast vacation (including images of orbiter Atlantis inside her exhibit, as well as an unflown Delta 2 vehicle at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex).

In the main time, enjoy these pictures of NASA's mega-Moon rocket as it remains on track for a wet dress rehearsal—SLS's final major test before launch on the Artemis 1 mission within the next 3 months—that's scheduled for this Sunday, April 3.

I used my Nikon D3300 camera to shoot these photos. Stay tuned for more!

EDIT (March 29): You can view more images from my trip below!
