SO ACCORDING TO FACEBOOK, my first name (Richard) is the 7th most common male name in the United States, and is in the top 0.6% category for most common monikers overall. The final result from Facebook is that my first name is very common. My last name (Par), however, is the 63,812th most common last name in the U.S. In terms of surnames (thank you very much, Spain), it is in the top 98% most common category. The final take on my last name, then, is that it's very uncommon.
