Abu Musab al-Zarqawi

The "Slaughtering Sheik"...slaughtered. Well, not really. Al-Zarqawi was still alive when Iraqi and U.S. ground forces arrived on the scene right after the militant’s not-so-safehouse was bombed by a U.S. F-16 fighter jet Wednesday night. And ironically (or is it?), Zarqawi’s head was framed in a large postmortem photograph for everyone on the Internet and watching TV to see, much as how Zarqawi displayed the heads of those he severed in videos during his 3-year reign of terror across Iraq. Now if only we could go online someday and read that Osama bin Laden was also found and taken out by a pair of laser-guided bombs, then maybe gas prices will go down to at least $2.00 per gallon. Actually... Pretend I didn’t type that last part of the sentence. Parno, you sadistic bastard! Haha.

On a different topic, Gary Payton is currently 3 games away from being denied his first championship ring yet again, after the Dallas Mavericks beat the Miami Heat, 90-80, in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Meh... Whatever. Oh, and the World Cup just started. Carry on.
