Yesterday, I went to the SEMA International Auto Salon at the L.A. Convention Center, where I took a picture with cute import model Alexia Lei. I actually went to the show to meet Cora Linn, but she wasn't there when I arrived. I could've stayed longer, but I also went to the city of Van Nuys to attend a Laker signing (they lost to San Antonio today, BAH!)...where I got autographs by Luke Walton and Kareem Rush. By the way, here're are two funny/clever quotes from the 8:30 P.M. episode of The Simpsons today.

"I didn't lie, I was writing fiction with my mouth!" - Homer Simpson to Marge after she found out he didn't read her romance novel

"This is how you talk when you learn English from porno movies..." - Apu, while being sly to Homer after the convenience clerk mentions Marge's novel to him (and hints to Homer that Marge's portrayal of him in the book ain't all that flattering)


One more thing, if you're eagerly awaiting the DVD arrival of the original Star Wars trilogy--which comes out on September 21st--here's how the box covers for the full screen (gold cover) and wide screen (silver) versions will look like. Can't wait!
